Review

The two shapes above on the pic are both promotional copies limited to only 25 copies, but there's another official shape showing a ballerina available as well. Usually the Azra stuff was limited to 500 copies if that helps you. Musicially the group is a big dissappointment if you expect straight Thrash since that's what you won't find here. The vocalist sounds fantastic but unfortunately he'd sing for a Power Metal band instead of wasting his talent in Rawshock which is nothing more than a Techno Thrash act offering really weird songstructures and obscure breaks. Some influences for sure have been Forbidden and Anthrax, though the Anthrax Mosh parts are minor compared to the Forbidden hints. Fortunately Kit Shinall had an outstanding voice, but sadly the guitarist kills all pre-menstrual enthusiasm immediately. Too complicated and unstraight to enjoy.
