Review

The terms NWOBHM identify the band from UK at the end of ’70s / beginning of ‘80s, but with this denomination you can find bands of classic H.M., power metal, metal with prog influences or doom inspiration.
WITCHFINDER GENERAL is one of the first act to recreate the ‘70s atmosphere of Black Sabbath, powered with the new metallic attitude of NWOBHM! This is the first release of this band that released two great albums (“Death Penalty” and “Friends of Hell”) and two other singles (“Music” and “Soviet Invasion”), always on the same label.
All their productions are in this direction: doomy sound with a great ‘80s H.M. touch.
A must to have for every NWOBHM collectors, but reccomended also to all the metal collectors.
