Review

The particular single is the second and sadly last one of this UK band. The black panther holding an electric guitar on the cover generates anticipation for a powerful music content which is gladly confirmed when the disc starts to spin. Both songs are simply magnificent while, oddly
enough, they sound like they have been composed by an american rather than a british group. "Alcatraz" is a brilliant mid-paced song that brings to
mind bands like Warrior (USA) or Q5. The B-side, named "So lonely", is an up-tempo track with memorable riffing and melodic refrain, sounding like a mix of Fifth Angel with Blitzkrieg. Definitely, one of the best singles released in the post-NWOBHM period and essential for any metal collection!
