Review

Although the name Silk'N'Steel won't make a bell wringing in most of you's minds but their vocalist Francis Paramore was part of some Metal bands, f.e. he joined SANVOISEN right after Silk'N'Steel's departure. Haven't seen the record that often to be honest and the opener "Ready to rock" is quite a heavy fucker scratching the Power Metal border and showing Francis sounding in places close to Chris Boltendahl. He had a nice vocal spectrum to offer, unfortunately I think Silk'N'Steel was prohably a bit too soft to unfold his voice, who only brought the usual melodic pounding Heavy Metal to the world, but acted just in average regions on most of the tracks. The MLP is nice and for German Metal collectors a must to have but still I miss the last kick somehow. "Look out" should be mentioned as well, a hymnic track that raises the level of quality immense. Definitely not in the vein of the usual german Gama...etc. stuff if you know what I mean.
