Review

Here's another local German Metal EP that just recently turned up (or exactly the last 5 copies turned up) sold by their ex-bass player who stored them all the years after he left the band. It's a small 500 copies edition that was sold at gigs and in the music shops in their area (Minden) only, so I don't expect so much copies to be spread in the rest of Germany, at least I haven't ever heard of them before. Besides their weak typical german sounding vocalist who's somewhere singing in the middle of Klaus Meine and the guy of DARK AVENGER (but much worse) and having problems to hit the higher tones (yeah a bit like Shakira who was called to sound like a sheep by her former music teacher), but despite of the partly annoying vocals the material of EXHAUST was more than listenable with heavily distorted guitarz. Nothing over the top, but I indeed know german records that sounded much worse then them. The B-side surely contains the best song but the "Interceptor" isn't ranking too far behind. I think I don't need to tell anyone how rare this obscure piece is. Can be bought by any German Metal collector without asking stupid questions!
