Review

One of the leading Australian bands spawned from the late 80's Australian thrash movement. A sound typical of the era (note the T-shirts the band are wearing: Sacred Reich, Metallica, S.O.D. etc). Fast thrashing music sitting comfortably in the Dark Angel speed zone intertwined with Metallica / Testament chug and obligatory Hetfield vocal mannerisms. Conscious lyrical themes embracing topics such as Alcoholism (Addictive Friend), Mental Turmoil (What Ward R U In? / Echoes Of The Mind) and prerequisite environmental devastation commentary (Boiling Point / Pity Of Man). Instrumental chug out The Forge and the subdued introduction to Come Before The Storm add respite & contrast to this unrelenting thrash up that will surely have fans reaching for their neck brace.
