Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

20 years ish.

How and when did you become a collector?

Officially, about 9 years ago when I bought the alternative Pantera/Far Beyond Driven brown cover. I bought it for 8.00 at a second hand store.

What kind of stuff do you collect?

I am not too terribly picky. I prefer lp's. My turntable is kinda crappy right now, I am in the market of buying a new one.

Which styles do you collect?

No, I love HEAVY METAL. I am a non-violent person by nature; which is weird because I love the aggressive thrash/speed. I in particular LOVE the Germans. For what ever reason, Germans have managed to take the very soul of Metal, and nurture it into a force. I also show love to the Swedes, Brits, Norse, Danes, my own Americans, Canadians, South Americans-well, let's just say I really love them all. I also have no problem with tunes sung in other languages even if I have not a clue as to what they are saying. I fell in love with Holy Dragons from Russia. I fall in love a lot. I am always on the watch for new metal bands. I have never been one to feed from the mainstream trough.

How big is your collection?

Size don't matter. An approx. count is 2000 titles with more coming.

Where do you buy?

Well, due to the area I live in, I am now within the confines of the Internet. I love to shop at second hand stores. I am open to trade with any willing participant.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

1. Accept-Restless and Wild
2. Judas Priest--Painkiller
3. Accept--Balls to the Wall
4. Black Steel--Hellhammer
5. Faithful Breath--Gold and Glory
6. Iron Savior--Condition Red
7. too numerous to mention

Do you trade / buy / sell?

Trading. I love to trade only if the trade in good for both parties. Selling is an option, and I am always buying. This is where my wife groans in pain. Open to trade for the Attack collection preferably on LP, but will take CD too.

Any famous last words?

Sure, I am no one too terribly special. I am just a guy. Make no mistake about it; I am 100% Christian. Yes, you read right. I came to know Jesus Christ in the year 2000, and to tell the truth, Heavy Metal has never been better. I know that (to most) is a contradiction. Why? I know the Truth. I am not a metal head who is a Christian, now I am a Christian who loves Heavy Metal. I would love nothing more to share that Truth with anyone who wants to hear it. That is where I stand. Oh yeah, one more thing. METAL RULZ!!!!!! (I am making the metal horns sign with my right hand)
