Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I have been listening to metal since I was 13 when I got into hair/glam metal and have been really into speed, thrash, death and power metal since I was 20 or so.

How and when did you become a collector?

I have always wanted a physical copy as opposed to downloading but I have only really considered my a collector for the last 3-5 years. Mainly when all the bootlegs started showing up on ebay.

What kind of stuff do you collect?

I collect basically everything but concentrate mainly on cds. Although, I do have some vinyl, demos and old magazines.

Which styles do you collect?

80s speed/thrash is my fave music but I really like early death metal from 89-92, alot of 80s power metal and quite a bit of glam as well. I dont like black metal, punk and hardcore and not big into crossover either.

How big is your collection?

I would guess 650-750 cds, 150 vinyl, 50 demos and I still have a bunch of old cassettes but I dont listen to them anymore. This is all metal as I will get mp3s from friends and my brother for other genres of music just not metal.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

My favorite albums (heart)
1. Destruction - Infernal Overkill
2. Deathrow - Raging Steel
3. Demolition Hammer - Epidemic of Violence
4. Dark Angel - Darkness Descends
5. Morbid Saint - Spectrum of Death

My favorite albums (value/rarity)
1. Gladiator - Designation
2. Magnus - I was Watching My Death
3. Magnus - Scarlett Slaughterer
4. Detente - Recognize No Authority (Pricekillers)
5. Angel Dust - Into the Dark Past

Do you trade / buy / sell?

I only buy now - mainly off ebay. I used to buy alot from used stores but that is becoming increasingly more difficult to do. I used to trade alot which I kind of regret now because I traded away alot of valuable stuff.

Any famous last words?

Thrash till Death!
