Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I have been listening for approximately 20 years. I would have to credit my older brother for inspiring me. I will never forget the first time I heard an old tape of Loudness - Thunder in the East. I have not been the same since ;)

How and when did you become a collector?

I have collected ever since that fateful day 20 years ago. I collect out of a love for what I feel is the only intelligent, thought provoking, and powerful form of music in existance. The wide variety of genres, the incredible sleeve artwork, everything!

What kind of stuff do you collect?

Due to space limitations, I mainly collect cd format. I transfer any vinyl that I get to cdr and put the vinyl in storage. I collect just about any style of metal - thrash, swedish death, power, progressive, NWOBHM, etc. I am not a fan of Hardcore, punk, etc. Approximately 30% of my collection is cdr that I have either traded for or transferred myself

Which styles do you collect?

I do not know if I "concentrate" on a particular style. But I would have to admit to having a special place in my heart for the old school power metallers. I think it is just the agression and power in that style that attracts me.

How big is your collection?

My collection just hit 4000 pieces

Where do you buy?

Online shops, auctions, traders, collectors, etc. - a little bit of everywhere.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

NOT in order of monetary value - but rather those that I personally value the most or had to expend the most effort to acquire.
1.Tyton - Castle Donnington
2.Savatage - Sirens (PAR)
3.Villian - Time Will Tell
4.Mythra - Death & Destiny
5.Odin - Don't Take No For an Answer - white vinyl
6.Chinatown - Play it to Death
7.Excorist - Nightmare Theatre
8.Satan's Host - Metal from Hell
9.Sanctuary/Fifth Angel - Interchords, words & music
10.Ethel The Frog

Do you trade / buy / sell?

Always interested in trading and buying - I do not do much selling.

Any famous last words?

That I am apalled at my fellow Americans for not having a better showing on this list :) I hope that I can make the cut and add to it.
