Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

Since 1977, when I first discovered KISS. That was all it took. Then I was on to AC/DC, Judas Priest, Maiden, etc. After this, I got heavily into underground metal such as Celtic Frost, Venom, Possessed, Cirith Ungol, Mercyful Fate, etc.

How and when did you become a collector?

I started collection really in 1984 when I was in high school. I still have all the LP's I bought then at an indie record store that carried all the great imports from Germany, U.K. etc. Great days!!

What kind of stuff do you collect?

Vinyl only now. It is the ultimate format, and the artwork and posters, etc that come with them are unsurpassed in the cool factor!

Which styles do you collect?

Mostly classic metal, NWOBHM, thrash, power and the like. Very little black/death stuff, although early stuff like Venom, Bathory, Possessed, C. Frost I love!
