Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I first got exposed to Hard/Heavy music in 1973 by my older brother who was a Led Zeppelin fan. I loved their 2nd album. Then I heard Black Sabbath's Paranoid album at a friend's home back around 1974 or 75 and that was it I was changed forever!

How and when did you become a collector?

I really started collecting alot in 1980.

What kind of stuff do you collect?

Mainly CDs now, and on a rare occasion LPs. No cassettes or CDRs. I like CDRs to hear a new band, but I do not collect them. Also books and Magazines on Metal.

Which styles do you collect?

All styles of Metal from the 70s to presesnt. Traditional, NWOBHM, Power, Speed, Thrash, Progressive, Death and a little Doom and Black. I am not into Nu Metal, Punk or Grunge.

How big is your collection?

Not that big. Around 1800 CDs, 500 LPs and numerous magazines.

Where do you buy?

Local CD shops. Mail order, eBay, and friends from abroad.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

Hmm that's a hard one. I'll just name a few that come to mind as I am not that up to date on the value of LPs:
SAVATAGE - Sirens LP (par records)
SACRED RITE - Sacred Rite LP (white cover/Hawaiian pressing)
HEAVY LOAD - Stronger Than Evil LP
JAG PANZER - Ample Destruction 1st pressing
OVERDRIVE - Swords And Axes LP
PANTERA - I Am the Night LP
MILLENIUM - Millenium LP
VIRGIN STEELE - Virgin Steele LP

Do you trade / buy / sell?

Yes, trade and buy, maybe sell

Any famous last words?

Great idea and Great Site! Cheers to all metal fans and collectors!
