Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I discovered Deep Purple when I was 12 and there was no turning back! Sure, I went through the obligatory thrash phase in the 80s, and was too hip for metal for a while in my early 20s, but I've come back to my roots.

How and when did you become a collector?

I started collecting back when my allowance was my primary source of finance. My collection grew dramatically during the three years I worked in a record store in Cleveland. Now I just can't keep away from vinyl stores and dealers!

What kind of stuff do you collect?

Primarily vinyl. I've bought two CDs and one video since 2001

Which styles do you collect?

US Metal, Italian Metal, NWoBHM, psych, kraut, and 20th Century classical. If you're not hip to Iron Gypsy, try listening to the guys after priming your brain with Berio!

How big is your collection?

About 3000 LPs and 200 7". Of the LPs, about 600 are metal

Where do you buy?

Local stores, eBay, dealers I know... get in touch if you\'ve got stuff!

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

1. Villain - Only Time Will Tell
2. Tyrant's Reign - Year of the Tyrants
3. Zen Venom - From Another Planet
4. Mistreater - Hell's Fire
5. Kent Rocks (Sampler)
6. Dark Knight
7. Winterhawk - Revival
8. It's Unheard Of... (Sampler)
9. Halloween - Don't Metal With Evil
10. Madhouse - First Damage (original demo)

Do you trade / buy / sell?

Trading and selling are possibilities, but I'm mostly looking to buy. Never hurts to shoot me an email, though!

Any famous last words?

Shoot me an email if you're interested in Beer and Jesus releases, or if you have something you'd like to suggest!
