Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I've been listening to Metal since 1981, two classmates who had older brothers introduced me to bands like Saxon and Accept. That was fun, but things came together in 1982 with releases like NOTB, Restless & Wild, Black Metal. Besides metal i enjoyed also punk/hardcore/metal crossovers like Gang Green, Suicidal Tendencies, DRI, Cryptic Slaughter, GBH, Exploited etc.

How and when did you become a collector?

I've started of as a music/vinyl collector since 1982. 1989 i've sold a large part of my vinyl collection because i owned it on CD. Since 2004 i've started again expanding my vinyl collection.

What kind of stuff do you collect?

Vinyl and CD's. I've got some original demo tapes: The Legacy, Heathen, Forbidden Evil, Defender etc.. I like to digitalize these and put the tapes out for sale because i'm not really interested in tapes

Which styles do you collect?

Mostly concentrate on quality stuff

How big is your collection?

Vinyl: 2500 - 3000 CD: 1000 - 1500
