Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

I've been listening to HM since 1981. A friend of my brother brought to me a Mothorhead live LP - No sleep 'til Hammersmith - and the classics "Iron maiden" and "Killers" records. And then the passion begun.

How and when did you become a collector?

Since then, I started collecting vinyls and CD. The first CD was "Master of puppets".

What kind of stuff do you collect?

CD and Vinyls. No tapes, no DVD or VHS, no poster, no flags or other similar stuff.

Which styles do you collect?

Doom doom doom.... and old 80s thrash metal!!!! Why? Simply because they are my favorite HM styles.

How big is your collection?

1500 Cds (all originals)- 300/400 copies (for stuff I will never buy) and 250/300 vinyls. No tapes.

Where do you buy?

I started buying in local shops, but starting in 1988-1989 I switched to buy from other nations through paper-catalogues, because CD (and in those days CD prices in Italy were double the price of an LP). Today I buy 99% of my stuff from e-bay or on-line shops.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

This is a tricky question, very tricky.

By heart:
All Candlemass LPs (except the last two)
Saint Vitus LPsf
Metallica - First three LPs
Iron Maiden - First Four LPs
My dying bride - The angel and the dark river
While heaven wept: Sorrow of the angels
and soooooooo many doom metal related stuff

By value:
Wyxmer: The syre of...
Arcturus: Constellation CD
Explorer: Symphonies of steel (HHH records)
Avalon: Live or die
Adramelch: Irae melanox
and other similar stuff

Do you trade / buy / sell?

Buy buy buy. Only buy.

Any famous last words?

Doom on forever. And when you are tired of doomin on... thrash under pressure!!!!
