Describe your way to Heavy Metal:

It all started in 1992 for me...through some Iron Maiden and Metallica tapes arranged by school mates.

How and when did you become a collector?

Bought my first items the same year...a few CDs first, then original cassettes (lots of them actually) and then vinyls. Credit to my brother who had his fair share in making the collection grow during the first few years.

What kind of stuff do you collect?

I am a child of the CD generation (that almost killed vinyl) but I appreciate both vinyl and cassette formats. Those old demos are a pleasure to go through...and I have developed a certain something for 7'' EPs.

Which styles do you collect?

Death/Thrash/Black/Atmospheric metal

How big is your collection?

I ‘ve stopped counting years ago. A rough estimate should be around 850 LPs, 2000+ CDs, 350 EPs and 500 promos (love those!) – a few original tapes and demo tapes can be found as well, about 150.

Your favourite records (by heart or value):

This is an extremely tough one.... I 'll just go for value:
1) Master's Hammer 'Jilemnicky okultista' CD (band version)
2) Burzum ' Hvis Lyset Tar Oss' and 'Aske' original LPs
3) Entombed ' Left Hand Path' original stickered sleeve LP
4) Gorement ' The ending quest' org Crypta CD
5) Ved Buens Ende ' Written in Waters' org gatefold-LP
6) Carnage ' Dark Recollections' org Necrosis LP
7) Immortal 'Battles in the north' org clear vinyl limited to 314 copies
8) Darkthrone 'Under a funeral moon' org LP, inclusive of the poster
9) Funebre 'Children of the scorn' LP
10) Katatonia 'Saw you Drown' mini-CD

Do you trade / buy / sell?

I do buy and sell...I never liked the trade thing, tried it only once.

Any famous last words?

Sic transit gloria mundi...
